Quantitative Consultant
Bengt Coorens is a Quantitative Consultant at VB Risk Advisory with a strong passion for combining finance, mathematics, and programming. After earning both his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Econometrics and Financial Econometrics from the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, he has developed a keen interest in tackling complex financial challenges.
Currently, Bengt is working on implementing Basel IV regulations, a project that aligns perfectly with his technical skills and practical mindset. He thrives in team environments, where collaboration and leveraging each other’s strengths lead to optimal solutions. Bengt is a true team player who is always eager to expand his skill set and deliver impactful results.
In his spare time, Bengt enjoys playing hockey at a competitive level as the captain of his club’s first team. He also finds joy in outdoor sports like golf and padel, cooking for friends and family, and traveling to destinations with breathtaking natural beauty.
